CLAY

Sculptors usually use “earthenware” clay, which tends to be grey in color. It is often used in first models or ideas for a piece. It is also one of the most common types of clay found today. This clay is quite popular with sculptors because of its malleability and elastic qualities. It is the earliest type of clay that has been used over the years by potters and artists.
